Anita Catarina Malfatti (December 2, 1889 – November 6, 1964) introduced Modernism to Brazil. Her style was expressionist and revolutionary. Anita Malfatti and the Group of Five were involved in enormous revolutionary changes in the structure of modern art in Brazil.
